I chose this book because picture looks fun. Also, the season is just winter, so I decided to read this book. First of all, Oliver and Amanda are interested in snow. Then they enjoy a snowball fight, a sledding, a snowman, and so on with their father and mother.

I remember that I had a snowball fight and a snowman when I was a child. In those days, it was snowing better than in recent years. Therefore I was able to touch the snow at that time. Then I thought that Oliver and Amanda were able to valuable experience with snow. After that, I chose a sentence that it is the warmest thing in this book, I think. Also, my heart was warmed after read the sentence.

BR 2-17: Good Night, Good Knight

I chose this book because night and Knight are same pronunciation, so I thought that this title is good and interesting. First of all, there are three little dragons. They ask each wish to knight.

I think that the knight is very kind, and a part is like a mother. Then three little dragons are very cute. Then this story is interesting, because their wishes are added whenever knight comes there. However, I think that they are interesting points in this book. After that, I thought where is there their mother and father. When I think so, I was sad. Then I thought that the knight is wonderful, because he is able to carry his project through.

BR 2-16: Young Cam Jansen and the Dinosaur Game

"That's amazing. He guessed the exact number of dinosaurs" (Adler & Natti, p.18).

I chose this book because I thought what the dinosaur game, so I wanted to know it. First of all, Cam and Eric go to Jane's birthday party by Mr. Jansen's driving. They arrive Jane's house, and there is a jar of dinosaurs. Then participants of Jane's birthday party guess how many dinosaurs in a jar.

I think that dinosaur game is difficult, because it is only seeing. However, there are a lot of dinosaurs, so I think that they were able to enjoy seeing them. Also, dinosaurs are very colorful. After that, they eat a cake, and they play musical chairs. Therefore it looks fun, but there was a happening. However, Cam has good memory, so she demonstrates. Therefore it is the highlight of this book.

I chose this book because I like a surprise. Therefore I decided to read this book. First of all, main characters are Annie and Bo. Then they go to skating. However, Bo wants to surprise to Annie, so Bo thinks about it. Will it success the surprise?

I think that this surprise is good. Also, this book is a heartwarming story. Therefore I like this book. Then I think that a surprise makes each other happy, so I think that a surprise is glad thing. After that, I knew that Bo surprises from the heart. There is also happening, but Bo and Annie are very thick together, and they looks fun. Finally, I recommend this book to you.

I chose this book because I remember that I liked dolls when I was a child. However, I think that dolls are cute even now. Then this book has three chapters. I like especially chapter 2 which is the singing doll. After that, Kate's best doll is Emily. However, there is Florinda of new doll. She is able to act like a person.

I think that if actually dolls move, it is fearful. However, this book has a dream. Therefore this book makes us fun. Then Florinda's action is interesting. After that, this story is able to understand in the end. Therefore I was relieved about Kate's best doll, Emily. As was mentioned before, this book has some kinds of story, so I think that you will be able to enjoy each story.

BR 2-13: The Reluctant Dragon

I chose this book because a picture is cute. Also, this year is just the year of the Dragon. Therefore it is nice timing. First of all, Shepherd saw something terrible outdoor. Then he tells his wife and his son about it. After that, his son goes in search of something terrible.

The dragon of this book looks kind, so I think that Shepherd's son was able to talk with the dragon. Also, the title of this book is interesting. When I was reading this book, I knew the meaning. Then my favorite scene is the last. The dragon acts in a cute way. After that, the last scene makes me happy. Therefore if you would like to know the last scene, please read this book. Also, I recommend this book to you.

I will introduce myself. I will show you about my name, hometown, family, schools, hobbies, favorite clothes, club activities and favorite seasons.

My name is Yukiko. I'm called Yuki, Yukko, Yuki-chan and Yukko-chan by my friends. However, I'm also called Yukiko. My hometown is Shiranui. There are a library, a heated pool, a hotspring and a roadside station. They are big institutions in Shiranui. Then Dekopon is the most famous fruit in Shiranui. It is an orange. I have four in my family that my father, my mother, my older sister and I. My father is medical office worker. Then my mother is a housewife. My older sister is also housewife. Now, she lives in Osaka. Then I'm a university student. I went to Shiranui primary school by on foot. It took about 10 minutes. Then I went to Shiranui junior high school by on foot. It took about 20 minutes. After that, I went to Buntoku high school by train. It took about 40 minutes. Then I'm going to KGU by train and on foot. It took about an hour.

My hobbies are especially listening to music, and shopping. I will show you their details on next pages. I like BIGBANG and 2NE1. They are Korean singer groups. I recommend you "HaruHaru" and "I don't care" respectively. I also like to listen to Western music. I listen to various singers’ songs. When I go shopping, I often go to PARCO, New-s and AEON MALL Kumamoto. I buy mainly clothes. Then I also like to go to Fukuoka, because there are a lot of kinds of shops and my favorite clothes shops. My favorite clothes are EMODA, dazzlin and MURUA. They have different tastes, but same group. Then I'm looking forward to seeing new clothes from now on.

I belonged to a badminton club for three years when I was a primary student. After that, I belonged to a soft tennis club for three years when I was a junior high school student. I enjoyed them, so I would like to play them again. My favorite seasons are spring and autumn, because their climates are much more comfortable. Also, my birthday is spring.

In conclusion, I have to be thankful for a lot of people. Also, I think my hobbies won't change. It's because listening to music and shopping are very fun for me. Then I am able to refresh with them. After that, I like clothes, and they make me happy. Then if I play sports future, I would like to play especially soft tennis. Also, I would like to enjoy seasons and my life. Thank you.

My favorite high school memory is a school festival. I like especially it when I was a second-year student. First of all, the school festival was close to a Halloween. My favorite elementary school memory is a noon recess. I often played outside with my friends. For instance, it was using playground equipment, riding a monocycle, playing tag, skipping rope, and so on. If it was rainy day, I played at cat's cradle with my friends. They were very fun. After that, I liked a swing, a seesaw in playground equipment. Then I practiced a monocycle any number of times. This song gives me peace of mind. Then Daichi Miura has a song in collaboration with BoA. It song is "possibility". The song is sad song lyrics. However, the song has also good melody, and I like it, too. Then BoA is one of my favorite artists, so this collaboration is wonderful for me.

My favorite place I've been is Tokyo, because there are a lot of shops and a large city. Then I went there by school trip when I was a high school student. Also, I have been there only once. After that, we also went to Takeshita Street. There are a lot of shops and people. We walked a lot there. Also, I went to Tokyo for the first time, so I was looking forward to going there. Actually, I was able to enjoy in Tokyo. Next, Tokyo Disneyland is one of places I would like to go. If I have a chance to go to Tokyo next time, I would like to go to Disneyland, too.

The Third Man (Listening Homework)

I will write a story summary of the beginning scenes of The Third Man. First of all, the characters in this movie are Holly Martins, Anna Schmidt, Harry Lime, Calloway, Paine, and so on. Then this story is an incident in Vienna. The center of the city is international, policed by an international patrol. Martins came all the way here to visit a friend of his by train. The train pulls into the station. He gets off the train and walks through the barrier. The friend is Lime. However, Martins heard unexpected news in Lime’s flat by the porter. The unexpected news was Lime’s death. Also, Martins heard that it was accidental death at this time. After that, Martins attended Lime’s funeral.

Next, when Martins walks off through the cemetery, Calloway calls out him. Calloway has got a car, so Martins gets into the car to go to town. Then they get acquainted in the car. However, they decided to drink in a bar having a drink. They talk about Lime there. Also, Martins is scrubber, and he tells Calloway about it of their talk. Calloway didn’t know it. Then they talk about Lime again. Paine just listens in on the two men. He is a sergeant. When Martins and Calloway talk about the cause of Lime’s death that it was not petrol, Paine walks over to the two men. Just at that moment, Martins and Calloway got a load on and started a brawl. Paine stops it.

After that, Martins stays military hotel. Paine guides him with talking. Paine knows that Martins is scrubber. Then Paine speaks to Crabbin. Paine introduces Martins to Crabbin. He didn’t know him. Also, he is doing propaganda. The week before, he had the striptease with Pain. They make Martins welcome. They are having a little lecture on the contemporary novel. However, Martins is due to leave tomorrow. Also, Martins was injured by the brawl. He continues to hold the handkerchief to his mouth. However, he was trying to punch a soldier’s major in the eye. Martins changed the talk, they are talking about Lime. He was going to stay with him at first, but Lime died. In contrast, Crabbin says such rude things to Martins, goodness, that’s awkward.

Just a telephone rings from Kurtz. He is a friend of Lime. They meet at the Mozart’s Café after the telephone. They talk about Lime. Martins tell Kurtz that the police have a crazy notion that Lime was mixed up in some sort of a racket. However, when Kurtz was hard up, he sold some tires on the black market. Martins want he helps Martins, but Kurtz is Austrian, and he has to be careful with the police. Then Martins knows the truth of Lime by Kurtz. Also, Martins asks Anna. She was in Lime’s funeral. Martins want she helps Martins. It may be able to do Lime’s postmortem, but Kurtz opposes that digging up of grave.

By the way, Martins goes to Anna’s backstage. They talk about Lime, and Martins knows new information by Anna that Dr. Winkel is Lime’s doctor. Also, he was passing just after it happened. Now, Martins and Anna are guessing with the porter. Some persons are concerned with the affair. The conceivable persons are three people, the porter considers.

After that, old woman tell Anna that the police come to Anna’s flat. Anna and Martins enter the building and climb the stairs to her flat. Then Anna has to show her papers, and even private letters. The private letters are from Lime, so the police want them for examining. Moreover, Anna has to go with police and Calloway.

My favorite sport to watch is soccer. I have played soccer in classes at an elementary school, a junior high school and a high school. However, I am weak in playing soccer, because I can't kick a ball very well. By the way, the rule of soccer is easy to understand, so I am able to enjoy watching or playing. Then my family is also like to watch soccer game, so I often watch it on TV with my family. Also, I have been to watching soccer game a few years ago with my family at KK WING in Kumamoto. I remember that it was a cold day. Also, actually watching soccer game was different from watching it on TV, and I was able to look out over the court or soccer player. Therefore, I was able to enjoy actually watching, too.

I chose this book because I thought that the title is interesting. Also, I have never read about police, so I decided to read this book.

First of all, the main character are Dan, Sue and Jim. They are police officers. Then this story is written that the police officers are chasing a man who is stealing money. Also, there are interviews or TV as a real in this book, so I thought that this story is as a news.

After that, I was surprised to read Dan's idea. However, I think that he is intelligent. Also, the idea is a stratagem, I think. Then if this story has the sequel to the police officers, they would solve neatly other matters, too. I recommend this book to you because this story is interesting.

BR 2-06: DANGER in the SNOW

I chose this book because I don't know much about the North Pole or a polar bear. Also, I think that this is a powerful painting.

The main character is the polar bear. She has two cubs. When she is just getting some food, her cubs were gone. She looks for them, and she finds them. There are six wolves. Then they fight with the polar bear. She breaks the ice, and the wolves are in the water.

It is written that the polar bear's loves for the cubs in this story. Then I thought that a polar bear is not only cute, but also strong. If you have never read this book, I recommend it to you.

My favorite animals are cats. I also like dogs, but I like cats these days. Then there are some cats in the neighborhood of my house. By the way, candy is freely soluble in summer, so I often buy candy in winter.

After that, I decide to eat it at teatime of the next day, if next day is a holiday. Also, I have a weakness for ice cream of limited time, and it looks really nice. Then I also like sherbet. My favorite tastes are Calpis, chocolate-coffee, and so on. Sherbet is very cold, so I often eat it in summer. However, I would like to eat it even in fall or winter. Finally, I like both equally ice creams and sherbets.
