Reflection on Writing IV

I think I developed informal English, reading and writing skills in Writing IV. Then I wrote 12 book reviews now, so I have to write 6 or more book reviews. Also, I will write them today. Also, I wrote 5 essays now. Therefore I have to write 1 essay today. After that, I finished all of typing homework yesterday. Then I was able to wrote a lot of comments. I also received a lot of comments, so I was glad. Then I thought I had to write weekly posts more.

I was able to learn especially writing in English. I think I was able to understand better than before. Writing in English is difficult, but it is interesting. I was able to enjoy it, and I thought I would like to practical use.

The Third Man (Listening Homework)

I will write a story summary of the beginning scenes of The Third Man. First of all, the characters in this movie are Holly Martins, Anna Schmidt, Harry Lime, Calloway, Paine, and so on. Then this story is an incident in Vienna. The center of the city is international, policed by an international patrol. Martins came all the way here to visit a friend of his by train. The train pulls into the station. He gets off the train and walks through the barrier. The friend is Lime. However, Martins heard unexpected news in Lime’s flat by the porter. The unexpected news was Lime’s death. Also, Martins heard that it was accidental death at this time. After that, Martins attended Lime’s funeral.

Next, when Martins walks off through the cemetery, Calloway calls out him. Calloway has got a car, so Martins gets into the car to go to town. Then they get acquainted in the car. However, they decided to drink in a bar having a drink. They talk about Lime there. Also, Martins is scrubber, and he tells Calloway about it of their talk. Calloway didn’t know it. Then they talk about Lime again. Paine just listens in on the two men. He is a sergeant. When Martins and Calloway talk about the cause of Lime’s death that it was not petrol, Paine walks over to the two men. Just at that moment, Martins and Calloway got a load on and started a brawl. Paine stops it.

After that, Martins stays military hotel. Paine guides him with talking. Paine knows that Martins is scrubber. Then Paine speaks to Crabbin. Paine introduces Martins to Crabbin. He didn’t know him. Also, he is doing propaganda. The week before, he had the striptease with Pain. They make Martins welcome. They are having a little lecture on the contemporary novel. However, Martins is due to leave tomorrow. Also, Martins was injured by the brawl. He continues to hold the handkerchief to his mouth. However, he was trying to punch a soldier’s major in the eye. Martins changed the talk, they are talking about Lime. He was going to stay with him at first, but Lime died. In contrast, Crabbin says such rude things to Martins, goodness, that’s awkward.

Just a telephone rings from Kurtz. He is a friend of Lime. They meet at the Mozart’s Café after the telephone. They talk about Lime. Martins tell Kurtz that the police have a crazy notion that Lime was mixed up in some sort of a racket. However, when Kurtz was hard up, he sold some tires on the black market. Martins want he helps Martins, but Kurtz is Austrian, and he has to be careful with the police. Then Martins knows the truth of Lime by Kurtz. Also, Martins asks Anna. She was in Lime’s funeral. Martins want she helps Martins. It may be able to do Lime’s postmortem, but Kurtz opposes that digging up of grave.

By the way, Martins goes to Anna’s backstage. They talk about Lime, and Martins knows new information by Anna that Dr. Winkel is Lime’s doctor. Also, he was passing just after it happened. Now, Martins and Anna are guessing with the porter. Some persons are concerned with the affair. The conceivable persons are three people, the porter considers.

After that, old woman tell Anna that the police come to Anna’s flat. Anna and Martins enter the building and climb the stairs to her flat. Then Anna has to show her papers, and even private letters. The private letters are from Lime, so the police want them for examining. Moreover, Anna has to go with police and Calloway.

How I have learnt languages

I have learnt languages by classes. I am learning English since about 8 years ago. I like English from the beginning, so I like the classes. Also, if I don't know words, I often use a dictionary. I make an effort to remember words. Then I have learnt languages by music, too. I often listen to Western music any number of times. After that, I see the words of a song. Also, I would like to learn languages more.

My Favorite Candy

My favorite candy is CHELSEA. It has a lot of tastes, but I think that the typical tastes are butter scotch and yogurt scotch. Then I like especially yogurt scotch taste. Also, sometimes I see a new version in candies selling area. CHELSEA is in a box of candy or a bag of candy. The box is one taste, but I like the style. Then the bag of candy has three tastes, so we are able to enjoy their tastes in one bag. Therefore we are able to choose we like. After that, the package is very cute. The design is a flower pattern. The color is different by tastes. For example, butter scotch is pink, and yogurt scotch is green. I like the design, too. By the way, candy is freely soluble in summer, so I often buy candy in winter.

My Favorite Dessert

My favorite dessert is ice cream. I eat it even in fall or winter. Then my favorite tastes ate chocolate, green tea, strawberry, and so on. There are some ice creams anytime in the freezer of my house. When I eat it, I see the calorie. For instance, if it is high in calories, I don't eat it after dinner. After that, I decide to eat it at teatime of the next day, if next day is a holiday. Also, I have a weakness for ice cream of limited time, and it looks really nice. Then I also like sherbet. My favorite tastes are Calpis, chocolate-coffee, and so on. Sherbet is very cold, so I often eat it in summer. However, I would like to eat it even in fall or winter. Finally, I like both equally ice creams and sherbets.

My Favorite Shoes

My favorite shoes are pumps and boots. Among of my having pumps, I like especially red and suede pumps. The heel is about 8 centimeter, but the pumps are wedge sole, so it is easy to walk better than pin heel, I think. However, if I wear pumps during a short time, I would like to wear pumps of pin heel, because I like it, too. Also, among of my having boots, I like especially short boots of beigue. This short boots is easy to suit with various clothes, so when I am irresolute, I choose this short boots. Then I will buy long boots for winter. I will choose black and low heel. When I buy shoes, I try some shoes.

My Favorite Clothing

My favorite clothes are spring and autumn, because I like style of the layered look. Spring and autumn are little cold, so I am able to choose a lot of clothes when I wear clothes. Also, I like to think about a coordinate. I sometimes read a fashion magazine, and I study fashion. Then I like style both cool and sweet. I buy clothes at various shops, but especially I often buy clothes at EMODA and DAZZLIN. Also, I see producers' blogs of their shops almost everyday, because it is able to know new clothes or recent conditions by blogs. Then I would like to go to Tokyo for shopping. Also, I think that clothing is one of individuality. Finally, I think I would like to enjoy the clothing.

My Favorite Dish

My favorite dish is carbonara type of pasta. It is delicious. I like pasta, because it has a lot of kinds. However, carbonara type of pasta is the best among them for me. When I go to Italian food restaurant, I often choose it. I ate it a few weeks ago in Capricciosa with my family. Then making a sauce of carbonara looks difficult. Also, I have never made it. If I cook carbonara type of pasta, someday I would like to cook it from the beginning without a prepared sauce. Also, someday if I have a chance to go to Italy, I would like to eat carbonara type of pasta. However, I also would like to eat pasta of tomato sauce there.

My Favorite Flower

My favorite flowers are cherry blossoms and roses. I go to see cherry blossoms every year with my family. Then we eat a packed box lunch there. It is still little cold when the cherry blossom season, but cherry blossoms are very beautiful. Also, cherry blossoms have fall quickly, so I am sad. However, cherry blossoms falling in the wind are very beautiful too. Also, I sometimes go to a rose garden with my family. There are a lot of roses of various colors. For instance, their colors are red, pink, yellow and white. Especially, I like pink roses and yellow roses. Also, smells of roses are good. However, there are also bees. Finally, I think that flower makes us happy a lot.

My Favorite Color

My favorite colors are especially black and white, because their colors are basic, and it is easy to match with everything. I often choose their colors when I buy clothes. Then my cellular phone is black now. It is cool, and I like the one. However, I like other colors too. For instance, I like red, pink, beige and blue. My favorite colors make me happy. Then if I have to choose, I like vivid color better than pastel color. By the way, a color of my room is almost brown. It is wooden floor, a desk and a shelf. Then my room is cozy, but I would like to change a color. If I have chance, I would like to remodel my room, black and white.

Favorite scene in the movie Robin Hood



I watched Robin Hood for the first time, and I thought that this movie was interesting. By the way, my favorite scene in this movie is the last scene. I think that Robin Hood and princess are good relationships. Also, I think that the last scene is the most gorgeous in this movie, so I like it. Also, the last scene was impressive scene.

Shopping

On September 30, I went to downtown after school with my friend Yui. We had a lunch at first. Then we went shopping. I bought two clothes at that time. However, I would like to buy clothes more, but I think that clothes are endless. Therefore I would like to buy new clothes four seasons. Then I would like to go to various shops, because I would like to find my favorite. Also, we took a rest in Starbucks. I like it, and I sometimes go there. Then we are going to go to clair next time. I am looking forward to going there too.

Reflections on Writing Ⅲ

I wrote essays, book reviews, typing homework, free writing, and so on. It was difficult for me to write a lot of words in English, but I was able to enjoy writing. Moreover, I think that I could memory a lot of words with writing.

On writing Ⅳ, I think that I would like to write more than spring semester. I have to do my best. Also, I am going to read a lot of books more than spring semester.

Something special I did during vacation

I went to display of fireworks with my family in Shiranui. I live in Shiranui, but I went there after a long time. There were a lot of people. Also, I went to display of fireworks only once in this year, so it is special for me. Then the fireworks were very beautiful and cute. Also, there were a lot of pattern, so I was able to enjoy view them. I was absorbed in seeing. Especially, I like big fireworks and colorful fireworks. Then I tried to take a picture, but it was difficult. I would like to take a picture some other time. However, I was glad to see fireworks.

Good and bad points about summer

Summer is very hot, but I think that summer is easy to spend better than winter. That's good point of summer, I think. By the way, it is already the middle of September, but even so especially this year is still very hot, I think. Sometimes it is too hot. That's bad point of summer, I think. However, a morning or a night are becoming cooler these days, so it is able to spend a comfortably, and I am glad. I like summer, but I want the weather to be cooler as soon as possible. I would like to enjoy the each season.

How I study during the vacation

I have to study English during the summer vacation too. However, I am not studying English very much, so typing homework is very good for me. Then I often listen to western music, but I can not catch the words of a song. It is difficult for me, but I would like to catch it. Then I think that my weak points of English are especially listening and speaking, so I am going to listen to music or English conversation many times. Also, I am going to study Korean, so I bought the book. I would like to do my best both of English and Korean.

August 23

On August 23, I went to Fukuoka with my friend, Yui. We went to PARCO, Tenjin CORE and an underground shopping area of Tenjin. Also, we had lunch and dinner in Fukuoka. Then it was rainy day.

In PARCO, I bought a lot of clothes and a short boots. The weather is still staying hot, but I am collecting autumn clothes and shoes.

In Tenjin CORE, we had a lunch. We ate stone-roasted bibimbap. It was nice. Then Tenjin CORE is redecorating a lot of shops, so we could not see a lot of shops. However, if I have a chance, I think that I would like to go there after redecoration.

In an underground shopping area of Tenjin, we took a rest in DOUTOR. We drank cafe latte. The day was a weekday, but there were a lot of people.

Then Yui also bought a lot of clothes, so we were very happy with each other. We came back to Hakata station, and we had a dinner. We ate Ramen. It was nice. We were tired from walking, but we had a swell time.

What classes I will take

I will take 15 classes in the fall term. I will take a lot of classes more then the spring term, so I will be busy more than the spring term. Their increase classes are history of English literature, introduction to English linguistics 1 and 2. After that, their three classes are Monday, Tuesday and Friday. I will take two, three or four classes a day. By the way, history is one of my weakest subjects, but I would like to understand various histories. Then I would like to progress in English, so I have to study hard. I would like to do my best.

Fukuoka

Yesterday, I went to Fukuoka by Shinkansen with my friend, Yui. Shinkansen was very fast, so we arrived there in about 35 minutes.

Then we went to Tenjin to go to PARCO by subway. I bought a beige shirt, a rose tank top and a fine belt. I like beige these days. I wanted clothes which was the shop, so I'm glad to buy them. Also, shop assistants were very kind. I think that I want to go there another time. My friend also bought clothes other shop, and she looks happy, so I'm glad too.

After that, we had a lunch in PARCO. I ate a salad and a rice casserole with white sauce. My friend ate a salad and pasta. Then there are not restaurants in PARCO of Kumamoto, so PARCO of Fukuoka was wonder. However, it is good, and we could enjoy it.

Then we went to an underground shopping area in Tenjin. There were a lot of shops, and an atmosphere was like a movie theatre. We enjoyed a window-shopping there.

After that, we came back to Hakata station, and we went to Hankyu and Amu Plaza. We were surprised that Hankyu and Amu Plaza is stood in line, so we could go to both simply. I think that we could know new Hakata station building.

When we were making a plan, we were decided what we will have a dinner, and a restaurant too. We have known that the restaurant is near by Hakata station, but we looked for it a long time. However we left early to make sure, so we had times. Then it was cloud day, but it was hot, so we were tired from waking. Moreover, it started raining. We didn't have an umbrella at that time. Then we found the restaurant at last. We were glad to find it. We were walking to opposite direction, but it became good exercise. Then we ate Korean food which was a salad, Samgyeopsal, buchimage and rice. They were spicy, but they were nice. Then there were K-POP, TV and many posters of idols. We were just like in Korea. We had an enjoyable time.

Finally, we came back to Kumamoto. We enjoyed Fukuoka, and we will go to there after two weeks.

Vacation Plans

I will write the summer vacation plans from now on. I have a lot of plans in the summer vacation. I will go to Fukuoka with my friend for shopping. We will go there two times during the summer vacation by Shinkansen. Then I am going to go to Aso with my family to see a shooting star, because I have never seen it. Then I will study English and Korean. Especially, I am interested in them. I will do my best. Therefore I would like to utilize the summer vacation. These vacation plans almost decided at the moment. Also, I have some plans which have not decided in detail, so perhaps I am going to increase vacation plans. In conclusion, I would like to spend a full life.
